Tons of poisonous chemicals including hazardous benzene hexachloride are stacked in this storehouse with broken clerestory windows. Monsoon rains fall on broken bags and wash the chemicals out a nearby door into the soil and ground water. These chemicals have been shown to cause liver, lung, endocrine gland and other types of cancer. Over 200 surrounding wells have been polluted.
