"Barrels of Sevin Waste"

About 20 tons of Sevin wastes are stored in this open bicycle shed. Three additional acres within the factory grounds were used as dumping ground and contain nearly 2000 metric tons of pollutants, including about one metric ton of mercury. Another site, used for Solar Evaporation Ponds, contains heavy concentrations of carcinogenic phthalates and dichlorobenzenes..
