The Guernica Gallery was first established as the Guernica Gallery of Graphic Art in 1992, in Santa Barbara, California. The Gallery's primary goal is to encourage artists to deal with the social and political issues of the time and to provide a venue for these artists to present their work to the public. (The story of the Gallery, including the art exhibits, concerts and lecture series can be viewed at HISTORY.)
